CIMA CPD monitoring is moving online from 1 September 2018.
We are improving the way in which we monitor CPD records. From 1 September 2018 anyone selected for monitoring will be required to submit their record using the AICPA | CIMA Competency and Learning website.
Using the website will help you to record your CPD in the correct format, removing any uncertainty and giving you more time to focus on professional development.
In preparation for this change, we recommend that you familiarise yourself with the ‘My Learning’ section of the Competency and Learning website and start using the website to record your CPD now. If you are selected for monitoring from 1 September 2018 you will be asked to provide details for the last 12 months using the Competency and Learning website.

The AICPA | CIMA Competency and Learning website allows you to identify your learning needs; tracking your progress; and submit your record, at the click of a button, to the CIMA CPD monitoring team.
The usual arrangements for members who work for Premier Partner and CIMA Development Quality Partner employers remain in place, you will not be required to submit your CPD record.
However, please make sure that your CIMA record is up to date so we can identify who you are. You can do this by logging into your My CIMA account and selecting My details > My personal and employment details.
If you’ve been selected for CPD monitoring this year you will be notified via email from September.
If selected for monitoring before 1 September 2018 you will be asked to submit your CPD record for the last 12 months. You can submit your CPD record in any format as long as it covers the six steps of the CIMA Professional Development cycle – define, assess, design, act, reflect and evaluate.
If selected for CPD monitoring after 1 September 2018 you will be required to submit your CPD record for the last 12 months using the Competency and Learning website.

You don’t need to submit your CPD record to CIMA for monitoring yet. If you’ve been selected for monitoring we will notify you via email from September.
