Damien Hooper-Campbell is eBay’s chief diversity officer, the first to hold that position at the company. He has built his vision of a more inclusive and diverse company on the concept of “circles of trust,” creating environments where people are encouraged to express their honest opinions, he tells Fast Company. To create those circles, he first has colleagues define the conversation: What do diversity and inclusion mean, especially in terms of each person’s experiences?
