Good luck getting a job here

Forbes contributor Jacquelyn Smith based a top-10 article on statistics from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, and online job postings, to come up with the best and worst US cities in which to find work. Long story short: Don’t go to Miami if you need a job. But San Jose, California, Washington, D.C., and Raleigh, North Carolina, all saw heavy recruiting over the summer. Tech-heavy San Jose offers the best average pay among the top cities, but it’s also consistently among the most expensive places to live.
