To obtain the CGMA designation through the AICPA, CPAs must pass the CGMA exam, meet the experience requirements and be a member of AICPA.
To obtain the CGMA designation through the CIMA qualification, candidates must complete the prescribed CIMA examinations, meet the experience requirements and be a member of CIMA.
